Michelle Van Wyhe

Michelle is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP, ARNP, FNP-BC) with a passion for helping patients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. She began her nursing career in 2001 with her RN from Augustana University, then went on to become a certified Nurse Practitioner in 2007 through South Dakota State University. Michelle joined the Lazaderm team in 2023.

She is trained in a wide range of aesthetic services, including neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), fillers (Juvéderm, Restylane), and advanced laser treatments (BBL, Moxi, ProFractional, Erbium, Vivace, Sofwave, Fraxel, tattoo removal, and laser hair removal), along with medical-grade skincare. Beyond her clinical work, Michelle has published articles in the Journal of Christian Nursing and served as a book reviewer for several nursing textbooks.

Outside of work, Michelle loves to travel, cook and bake, tend to her flower garden in the summer, and spend time with her family. Her can’t-live-without LD SKIN product is Deep Drink, and her favorite treatments to get done herself are Botox and Moxi.

Dr. Hansen is wonderful! I’ve had excellent results with Botox (he’s the region’s top doc for Allergan products and does more injections than any other professional in the area) which means he is very practiced and quite particular about results. He’s very congenial, meticulous and dedicated to achieving your goals for an improved appearance.
