Laiken Beckstrom

Laiken is a licensed Aesthetician with a passion for helping people feel their best. She started her journey in the beauty industry with a Cosmetology license from the Aveda Institute of Des Moines in 2014, then went on to earn her Aesthetics license there in 2019. Laiken joined the Lazaderm team in June 2025, bringing years of hands-on skincare experience with her.

She specializes in Facials, HydraFacial, Chemical Peels, and Brow and Lash services — and what she loves most is being part of someone’s self-care journey, helping clients slow down and take time for themselves.

When she’s not at the spa, you’ll likely find Laiken outside with her hands in the dirt, tending to her ever-growing plant collection and garden. Her can’t-live-without product is the In The Clear Pore Perfecting Pads, and her go-to treatments are the HydraFacial and Botox — because she believes in practicing what she preaches!

Dr. Hansen is wonderful! I’ve had excellent results with Botox (he’s the region’s top doc for Allergan products and does more injections than any other professional in the area) which means he is very practiced and quite particular about results. He’s very congenial, meticulous and dedicated to achieving your goals for an improved appearance. Nothing against other medical/beauty spas in this market but I would highly recommend a visit to Dr. Hansen, you’ll not be disappointed. He’s the best in the business!
