Why Choose Lazaderm in Fargo

Physician-Led Care

Owner and Medical Director Lornell Hansen II, MD, oversees laser tattoo removal at our clinic on 45th Street S, bringing over 20 years of experience in laser treatments.

Technology That Doesn't Quit at Color

Blues, greens, and turquoise used to be the inks that wouldn’t budge. Our Quanta Q-Plus laser offers multiple wavelengths, so we can treat the stubborn shades as well as the easy ones.

Built to Protect Your Skin

Each pulse lasts as little as six billionths of a second. That’s fast enough to shatter ink while sparing the skin around it, which means less heat, less irritation and a lower risk of scarring.

What Laser Tattoo Removal Can Do

With tattoo removal, no two requests are the same. We can customize your treatment at our Fargo clinic, offering many types of service, including:

01

Complete removal

If you want a clean slate, we’ll work on completely fading the entire tattoo.

02

Partial removal

Erase just a name, a word, or one section you regret while leaving the rest untouched.

03

Cover-up lightening

Soften an existing piece so your tattoo artist has a clean canvas to work over.

04

Black and dark ink

These are often the fastest to respond, since dark pigment absorbs the laser most efficiently.

05

Challenging ink colors

Treat the light blues, greens, yellows, oranges and turquoises that older Q-switched lasers couldn’t clear.

06

Pro and amateur work

Treat every tattoo, regardless of the technique used to apply it.

07

Tricky placements

Address tattoos on every part of the body, including hands, feet and legs.

08

Comfort built in

Cooling technology built into the device keeps the session tolerable and protects the surface of your skin.

What to Expect at Your Fargo Appointment

1

Your Free Consultation

At 1650 45th Street S, we can build you a no-commitment plan during your consultation by looking at everything from your tattoo’s size and colors to its placement and depth. Most tattoos need between 5 and 15 visits for complete removal, but we’ll let you know more once we can see the tattoo we’ll be working with.

2

Your Treatment Sessions

Our laser will break the ink in your tattoo into tiny fragments that your body can carry away. You’ll feel quick snaps against the skin as we move the laser device across the tattoo area, which is less painful than getting the tattoo, with cool air from the device that keeps it more tolerable.

3

Your Results

Between appointments, your immune system flushes out the shattered pigment and the tattoo fades a little more each round. There’s no shortcut or overnight results, but Fargo’s long, covered-up winters can be the perfect time to fade a tattoo while your skin stays out of the sun.

Tattoo Removal in Fargo— Frequently Asked Questions

How much does tattoo removal cost in Fargo?

Pricing depends on your tattoo’s size and location, and how many sessions it’ll take to reach your goal. Because every piece is different, we start with a free consultation and give you a clear, upfront estimate before you book a single session.

When's the best time of year to start tattoo removal in Fargo?

Fall and winter are ideal for tattoo removal. Treated skin needs to stay out of direct sun to heal well and respond best, and Fargo makes this easy with a long cold season. You can start in autumn and move through several sessions before summer ever arrives. That being said, laser tattoo removal can be done any time of the year; just protect your skin from the sun between sessions.

Real Patients. Real Results.

First, I have to say how much I appreciate not having other products or services that I didn’t want or need pushed on me like so many other places in town. The results speak for themselves – no one noticed I had anything done, just that I look rested and healthy. Again, I can’t say enough how comfortable I was during my whole appointment, and how pleasantly surprised I was to not be pressured into buying other services or products I wasn’t interested in, or frankly, couldn’t afford.

I have loved both of my experiences at Lazaderm. I have done a couple tattoo removal sessions, and also just got a lip flip! I really appreciate how kind and welcoming the staff is, and how much time they take in explaining all services, and answering any questions you may have! They also make sure you are comfortable throughout the services by providing breaks whenever needed! Definitely will continue returning!!! 🙂
