Born and raised in Sioux City, Laiken has spent over 10 years in the service industry with a strong passion for skincare, beauty, and client care. She began her journey at the Aveda Institute of Des Moines in 2014, where she studied Cosmetology. After graduation, she provided hair and makeup services at a salon called Foxxis and later managed the Clinique skincare and makeup counter for five years—an experience that deepened her product knowledge and love for helping people look and feel their best.
In 2019, Laiken returned to Aveda to earn my Esthetics license and have since been working as an Esthetician and Nail Technician at Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort. For the past six years, she has specialized in facials, microdermabrasion treatments, full body waxing, brow and lash services, and more. She is a true skincare and makeup enthusiast who’s always excited to explore new products and techniques.
Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with my two little dogs, Pup and Peaches. They love going on walks, taking car rides, and hanging out at the dog park. Her downtime is all about relaxation, fresh air, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves Hello Kitty!
