Microneedling

Microneedling involves using fine needles to improve fine lines, skin tone, sun damage, acne scars, acne, surgical scars, stretch marks, and large pores. Microneedling can improve collagen and elastin production, improve the effectiveness of topical penetration, and stimulate circulation.

Before and after of microneedling procedure at Lazaderm

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. The treatment is minimally invasive which is virtually painless and incredibly effective.

Microneedling can stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin which is the key to new, youthful-looking skin. The microneedles stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production. This reverses as well as prevents signs of aging.

Microneedling Procedure

Medical microneedling involves a medical-grade electric needling device that contains multiple needles. The micro-needling device slides along the skin making thousands of punctures through the upper layers of skin. This can break down old scarring and increase collagen and elastin production. Conditions microneedling can treat include:

  • Old or new acne scars along with surgical scars
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Pore size
  • Skin texture irregularities
  • Stretch marks
  • Rough sun-damaged skin
  • Aging Skin
  • Crow’s Feet & smile lines
  • Hair loss
