During your initial consultation, the doctor will examine your targeted area and recommend the best option available for you.
- The injection is quick and painless

- You may be advised to follow up 2 weeks after the procedure if you are new to Botox or you have had previous concerns with past injections.
Pre-Procedure Instruction for BOTOX®:
Avoid products containing aspirin or ibuprofen for ten days prior to treatment with BOTOX® in order to minimize any chances of bruising. Do NOT stop aspirin if it has been prescribed by your physician.
Post-Procedure Instruction for BOTOX®:
After treatment, you should remain upright for six hours. Keep your head as erect as possible during this time and avoid bending down.
For six hours after BOTOX® injection, avoid:
- Rubbing the injection sites
- Exercising
- Wearing a hat or a headband
- Washing or styling your hair
Don’t fly on an airplane for 2 days after BOTOX® treatment.
Exercise the injected area 10 times every 15 minutes for the first hour by squinting the eyes, frowning, or wrinkling the forehead depending on the area injected. These exercises help work the BOTOX® into the muscles to increase the effectiveness of treatment.
