Recommended areas of treatment with AGNES RF:
The smaller the treatment area, the shorter the recovery time. Only mild redness may subside within 1-3 days, depending on the area treated. Swelling and minimal bruising are normal for a few days up to a week. If more intensive treatment is performed for sculpting larger areas such as the jowls and jawline, moderate swelling can resolve over 1-2 weeks or longer.
There is mild to no discomfort after the treatment, but it is normal to experience altered sensation (numbness or a slight prickly sensation) of your treated skin. This sensation will resolve over the next several days to weeks. You will be able to resume regular activities that day. We recommend gentle handling of the treated area for 48 hours. We also recommend avoiding sun exposure to treated skin for 2 weeks, which will help avoid the possibility of hyperpigmentation.
There will be some immediate tightening visible. However, most changes due to new collagen and elastin production and remodeling of this new tissue will occur over 1-2 months after treatment. It also takes several weeks for your body to remove disrupted fat cells from the treated area.
Although there may be noticeable improvement with even one treatment, optimal results usually require 2-3 treatments spaced 2-3 months apart. For acne treatments, 4 sessions are typically recommended one month apart.
