Vivace Microneedling with RF (radiofrequency)

Lazaderm is proud to announce the addition of the Vivace Microneedling with RF to the region. Lazaderm is the only aesthetic center in the region offering this cutting-edge technology. The Vivace is the newest generation of microneedling with RF. Vivace microneedling is a non-surgical treatment with minimal downtime and a great safety profile. The Vivace can be used on any area of the body. This will improve fine lines, wrinkles and tighten your skin and the Vivace has been cleared by the FDA for your safety.

The Vivace uses 36 insulated needles that produce radiofrequency at the tips. The radiofrequency produced by Vivace heats the tissues of the skin and will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.  The treatment channels from the needles will stay open for about 6 hours. The treatment will be combined with serums specifically designed to work with the microneedling and radiofrequency to improve your results. The depth of your treatment can be controlled from 0.5mm to 3.5mm in depth. The depth of treatment will be adjusted depending on the thickness of your skin and the amount of correction required for each patient. The Vivace can be combined with other treatments such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) or the BBL (Broadband Light) to further improve your treatment results.

We will apply a topical pain medication for 30 to 60 minutes prior to your Vivace Procedure. The topical pain medication will ensure that you experience the least amount of discomfort as possible. Many patients feel that the Vivace treatments are comfortable or essentially pain free although pain tolerance can vary. You will mostly feel a sensation of light pressure with occasional tingling.
We will have you arrive about an hour before your treatment to take pictures and apply a topical numbing cream. We will leave the topical numbing cream on for 30 to 60 minutes. The procedure itself will take about 40 minutes for a full face and neck.
One of the great things about the Vivace is that it can be used on all skin types including African American skin. Darker skin types can be sensitive to the use of lasers but the Vivace is color blind and can be used throughout the year, even on tanned skin.
Most patients will need three treatments to achieve the results they are looking for. The Vivace treatments should be spaced three to six weeks apart. The final results will be seen about three months after your last treatment as the body produces collage in the skin.
Yes, we feel that there are many complimentary procedures available to use the same day or between your Vivace procedures. This will depend on what you are trying to achieve with the treatment of your skin.
The channels created by Vivace will stay open for about six hours. During this time, you may benefit from the use of topical treatments including PRP for improvement of your skin. After the initial six hours, you may apply makeup and return to your normal activities or go have a night out on the town. You may have some redness that lasts one to two days. We do recommend three to five days off from aggressive work outs.
We recommend that you do not apply makeup for at least six hours after your treatment. We will send you home with post procedure Recovery Serum.
