Start of Medical Career
Katie began her medical career at Lazaderm in 2006. She always knew she wanted to work in aesthetics and after completing school in 2006, she moved back to Sioux Falls and started working for Dr. Hansen. Katie always had a dream of doing cosmetic injections and continued her education to become a nurse.
She loves aesthetics because it is an environment that inspires positivity and artistry. The cosmetic industry is ever-changing which makes her passion for the field grow. She loves making her patients feel beautiful and helping them boost their confidence to achieve their anti-aging/skin goals.
Katie has extensive experience and advanced training in state-of-the-art lasers and non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as BBL, Laser Hair Removal, Tattoo Removal, Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, Microneedling, Body Sculpting Treatments, Laser Vein Removal and so much more! Some of these procedures she can only perform in the state of Iowa due to state regulations.
Katie is very passionate about the field of aesthetics and has a wide knowledge base of the always-changing field. She is a great listener, open-minded, genuine, compassionate and a “people person.” “It is a great feeling to build trust with my patients and build long-lasting relationships with them.”
What Katie loves most about being in aesthetics is being able to help and inspire so many people with their skincare concerns. Whether it’s helping boost someone’s self-confidence or helping them reach their goals- being in this industry is so rewarding to her.
